Any pickguard makers in the forum?

Is there anyone here that can make me a customized pickguard? If not, do you know anyone on the Net who does such thing and who ships to Canada?

I want a new pickguard for my Ibanez Roadstar II but I realized cutting myself one is a much bigger challenge than I expected. I don't feel like crapping up blank pickguard sheet after blank pickguard sheet until I do it right.

Try www.terrapinguitars.com. You might need to provide a tracing or send him the original pickguard. That one doesn't show up on his current template list.

i've used terrapin before but was a little disappointed. i sent a template to have a pickguard replicated in a different pickup configuration. when i got it back, the screw holes wasn't countersunk as per the original.

its a small issue. but i am not sure if it was an oversight or must i request for countersunk screw holes.

alternatively, you can try www.pickguardheaven.com. prices are a little steeper, but they have lots of templates available.

Warmoth makes some. I turned to making my own because I could never find what I wanted. I used the metal plate off of the bottom of an old Wah pedal. A vice and 2 files when along way in gettingit to look right.
