Any Rocktron Banshee Talk Box Users/Fans here?

Hey guys.

I've been considering getting a Talk Box for a while for a toy to mess around with etc, and just wondered if anyone here has tried or owned a Rocktron Banshee talkbox?

I really like how it plugs inline with your guitar and has it's own amplifier so I wouldn't have to run long cables from my amp head and back to the cab.

Thanks for any info or opinions anyone may have.

I like mine just fine. It's a little fizzy on the top end by itself, so I run the mic line through an eq to smooth out the top and boost the upper mids. A Shure SM57 with the windscreen cover completes the setup.

I've always liked the talkbox, normally I don't like all these gimmicky effects and stuff but the talkbox is cool.

Joe Perry's talkbox work on Sweet Emotion is killer. And not to forget Joe Walsh, Framptone and Sambora.

Good list of users there I really like Joe Perrys use of it on Sweet Emotion. I also quite like some of Slashs work with a Talk Box too.

I'm going to finish doing up a few guitars I have lying around 1st, and then I think I can see 1 of these in my future
