Any Suggestions for a Lightweight Tube Amp?

Re: Any Suggestions for a Lightweight Tube Amp?

Ampeg Jet reissue...killer tone, great old-school overdrive and not heavy. More than loud enough. Better reverb than most Fenders, too. Superb tremolo circuit. Around $350 used.

My main amp since I bought it new in 1995. Nothing compares, really.

I think they are actually only about $250 on the used market.

Very, very light, not a tube amp but, you would swear that it is a tube amp. Quilter amps sound incredible and probably the lightest guitar amps available.

Any reason not to get your blues jr fixed?

Otherwise, I second the recommendation for a Princeton as well if you like a black face tone and then get a
Weber 10 inch speaker that matches your needs or a higher watt 10' jensen to tighten up the bass. You could also sell off some of your other amps if your really not going to lug them around again.
