I'm dealing with a demo, and i get really get a good natural kind of reverb, the sample just sounds dead without some, but i havent found a sound im pleased with yet. its for a rock song.

I don't like reverb too much on drums. It gets a little corny; most guys are either "In The Air Tonight" or "Bridge Over Troubled Water"/"Mandy" snare of doom.

That being said, I prefer it to be used sparingly, and a natural fast decay... like a tiled bathroom kind of sound.

The great thing about samples is that you can change them. See if you can find a snare you like, and you may not need reverb at all.

You could play it out in the room, and mic it from a bit back...or take the speaker, put it on top of a real snare drum, let it play and then mic the room sound of that

Go through your wave editor's reverb presets - there should be a snare preset.
