Anybody have experience with the Bill Lawrence L610?

So for my Nighthawk project I've started thinking about stocking with the P90 in the middle idea, since no one around has tried a humbucker in the middle, and I like the middle P90 tone anyway. Plus it's one of the few noiseless P90 designs I've seen get high praise.

I'm going for the L610 in the middle and L500 in the bridge. Does anyone have any experience with the L610 and can hypothesize if it will sound good in the middle position?

Re: Anybody have experience with the Bill Lawrence L610?

I haven't heard much about that one.

I've generally heard people knocking noiseless P-90s (too dark, typical complaint, or pickup height too tall so hard to mount without having to route out the guitar), but not specifically the L610. So nothing useful to add about the L610.

The only noise-cancelling P-90 models that I have heard get consistent praise are the Kinman P-90 Hx series. He's on the 3rd generation of those, apparently further reduced the height of the noise-cancelling portion, so they are friendlier to stock routes in more guitars. He's got a lot more options than the last time I looked.

So how's that for some extra option paralysis?

I've heard the L610 are actually brighter than a traditional P90. I'm also looking for something in a humbucker route, but I may look for some of their other offerings.

I never heard of them until now! Curious to hear what someone with firsthand experience has to say.

Yeah, the reviews I've seen of them speak highly, and many say they are a cross between a vintage P90 and the classic BL tone.
