Its a full size humbucker. Ive only used mine in the bridge and it sounds great there. Dont know about how it would be in the neck.

The Allen Holdsworth comes in both neck and bridge models...the bridge IS a JB with 2 rows of screws and an Alnico II magnet...I hope this helps.

The bridge model is being used by Doug Aldrich on the black strat on Dio's live DVD at the Roseland.That thing sounds majorly sweet!!! I'm going to have to try one in my Strat project.
