Info on J Mascis telecaster bridge pickup

Does anybody have the J Mascis telecaster by chance or has anybody any info about the bridge pickup installed?
I'm curious about the specs, in a interview he talks about a 56 specs pickup but the fender info on the page says it's a 58, whatever it could mean. I heard one in a shop and it sounds very good
