Reason I ask is I need to get the Washburn USA NOS Hagar body done. I'm kind of digging the Midnight Wine Kandy color here and this price ain't bad.

Will do on the project she has been hanging around for a while now it's time to put it together. I picked up a NOS set of the correct Washburn labeled locking goto tuners a couple months ago now got to pick up the pickups all the hardware and a Goto Floyd. I'm trying to figure out where to get the brass insert machine screw set up they use in these for the pickup direct mounts as the body is specifically routed and drilled for them. I wonder if they used the same type mount system as you do for P-90's?
Here is a close up of the pickup cavity's and there are brass inserts pressed into the drilled holes on my other MG's then the pickup tabs are drilled and machine screws used. Anybody know what these inserts are and where I can get them?

All nos parts and the nut has never been slotted on this neck.

Finish is still a ? but I am thinking a Candy Purple, Candy Orange or Deep burgundy with zebra pickups and a Chrome Ghoto Floyd.

Like the color ( a DEEP Burgundy metallic) and it was a special for a price that is right at $100 less than their norm.
Had a health issue come up and take the $$ I had on hand so if it is still available at that price when i get some $$ will go with it if not--. Really wanted to do a Kameleon "Color Shift" Finish on this one but that freekin paint is SO expensive! I priced just the paint I wanted locally and it was more than they want for that Midnight Wine refinish just for the PAINT!
What I really wanted was the HOC Red Gold listed here http://www.guitarpaintguys.com/kameleoncolors.html but---.

Yep I LOVE that color.
Kinda got a soft spot for Purple guitars and wish I would have kept this one.

Always wanted a checkerboard guitar. It must be the 14 year old Cheap Trick fan that still lives in this body.
