anybody know anything about these peadals?

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

By my understanding of having a few friends use them.... They are not digital, but then again, I have never owned one myself, mainly because I've never been impressed by them, and they have weird names, ha ha :laugh2:
Hopefully someone else has a more definite idea than me

lol, yeah the names are really weird.

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

They're horrible horrible pedals...the lower end Danelectros at least (this would be included as a lower end). Plastic, tone-robbing, horrible-sounding, completely unreliable; no more worth than as novelty. Cool for playing around I guess but no real value. Analog/digital should be the least of your worries.

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

i have a few danelectro pedals...the black coffee is one of them...and to be honest, they are pure junk, nearly impossible to get a useful sound out of them IMO, they all sound well...fake or over processed i guess you could say. thanks god i got them for free and didn't have to pay for them hehehe.

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

I have to agree with the consensus.. all **** pedals, no question.

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

0 bids and its at 1.99, is it really that hard to judge? Seriously. :laugh2:

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

Well the reason i asked if they were analoge or digital is becuase the local guitar shop sells these pedals for super cheap and if they were analoge then I try doing some simple pedal mods and not worrie if I ruin the thing.

thanks for the replies guys

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

The only Dano pedal that consistently gets good reviews is the ‘Fish & Chips’ EQ.
Quieter than the Boss GE-7 and cheaper too. Still, I would be hesitant to gig with it due to the cheap on / off switch.

I wouldn't waste my time on the rest of the Dano 'mini' pedal line.

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

i had like 6 danelctro pedals. including the black coffee. i sold them to my uncle b/c i felt that they the majority of them were bad. including the black coffee. the names are cool though.

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

I used to have a bunch too, but they all sucked.

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

Yeah, those pedals are teh suck. ... unless of course you're just looking to make nosie. I got some funky, almost ring-mod sounds out of my french toast octave distortion when the battery starts to run out.

Re: anybody know anything about these peadals?

I Love the Dan Echo pedal, but you guys seem to be talking about the tiny cheapo range of pedals...Those are in fact "crap"!
