anybody pair P-Rail with JBE/Gatton bridge?

I have a MIM tele that has JBE/Gatton pickups in bridge and neck. I am considering dropping in a p-rail in the neck for more tonal options. Wondering if anyone can advise what factors to consider when pairing dis-similar pickups? While I'm at it, will the "rail" portion of the p-rail do a tele justice?

Not in the neck.

In the bridge with the Rail coil next to the bridge and an A8 mag next to the Rail to give it more oomph and compression, it gives a reasonable impression of a Tele, but only a Tele pup mounted in the bridgeplate of a Tele guitar will sound like a Tele.

I don't think you would be happy with trying to get a Tele sound out of a P-Rails. You get a few really cool sounds, but none of them sound authentically Tele-ish.
