Anybody play one of these (rondo)?

My tele has to stay at my drummers basement for now, so i'm left with no electrics at my house I was thinking of picking up a cheap electric that I can have to mess around on, but I wanted something that i could maybe work on a bit, to the point where it could be a real backup.

anyways, i love the funky style of these:

was wondering if anybody has any experience, or read up on these guitars? I like the body more than anything, and i could probably eventually slap a nice fender neck on there or something along those lines. I could see myself really enjoying a guitar like this if i fix it up a bit.

If you like funky looking guitars, you might want to check out Eastwood. I've never played an Agile or "SX" so I can't really comment on them.

The woods supposed to pretty good but plan on replacing pretty much everything.

I would get that... that should be a comfortable body shape & alder.. .so it can't be a negative tone machine...

They got a maple one now too not to mention a Zakk Wylde Stormin Norman LP wannabe except the fingerboard/top isn't maple. I should know better than to click on a thread that says rondo in the subject.
