Now I haven't had pedal GAS in a long time, and not dirt/fuzz GAS in even longer. But my Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe isn't quite doing it for me with how it interacts with single coils. SO, the search continues.
Enter the Trombetta Bone Machine:
This guy is local to me. In fact, I found out about him from some random dude in Guitar Center. Turns out he has a huge following over on The Gear Page. I love the sound of this pedal - so many different tones you can get. That's one of the the things I love most about fuzz. They're incredibly responsive to volume knob manipulation. I especially like the horn sounds you can coax from this device. FYI, the Bone Machine comes in a MXR size box too, just without the SI/GE switch.
