Have a Perpet in my 17 Kiesel DC and I'm thinking about swapping it for a Hybrid I have on hand. The Perpetual burn is nice but is a little shall we say polite in the DC. Can use the mid punch of the Hybrid and the Hybrid should really work well with the AP 11 singles.
If I do the swap I would drop the Perpet in my Carvin AE 185. Thinking the clarity and articulation of the Perpet would be nice in the AE 185. It has the same basic active module that the Carvin Becker guitars had and I have a new Sentient on hand so would go Perpetual Burn bridge and Sentient neck in the AE. Think the Hybrid may be a little to mid heavy and bright for the AE and the DC can use a little more mid punch and sparkle.
