I have.
No real issues to speak of. But shipping took a little longer than I expected. I’m not sure if pickups are wound after an order or if there is some sort of on hand stock?
I assumed there was some stock but when the shipping took a bit I began to wonder.
Iirc, the shipping was about 2 weeks. Not overly long of a wait but it would have likely been faster through another retailer that had the item in stock.
I also bought my Andromeda delay from the Duncan online store. I don’t really remember how long that took to arrive but I don’t recall it taking any longer than an other online order.

Before I worked for them, I did. Never any issues.

i kinda doubt duncan keeps much on hand for sale so im sure it would be faster through a retailer

Not quite the same thing, but I did when I worked for Guitar Center through their GAIN program. Usually took around a week to get them (I'm from Pennsylvania), but no issues whatsoever.

No issues. It took about a week to deliver. Sweetwater didn't have the color I wanted but did have the pickup so I just ordered direct from Duncan.

I guess I'm in no hurry - why not. Plus - if anything goes wrong, I get an opportunity to deal with customer service :cool:

It's been a while, but I have. From being at UGD 2005, they have a fair amount of the basic stuff on hand. I received my order in about 7-10 days IIRC. They're not a dedicated web sales portal like other sites, so I didn't and don't expect the same level of efficiency from them, plus they don't want to outcompete their dealer base. If I want something asap, I'll order from someone else.

I do remember when I sent a PATB Stk in for repair and it got lost at the factory. MJ sent me a note and told me she pulled a new one from stock and mailed it to me. So again they do have a stock of stuff.....they would have to.

Just to put a story out here about good customer service...

I recently bought a QP tele neck direct from Duncan. (See above post).
It wasn’t what I was looking for so I emailed for he exchange program. I got my RMA and shipped the pickup back the next day.
Well.....
I have no idea what happened but the package criss-crosses the country twice. Went to Santa Barbra back east to Mass then out to Santa Clarita and back to Maine.
I emailed the usps to ask what was going on. I also emailed Duncan and told them what happened and I have them the tracking so they could see. I was concerned that the three week exchange period wouldn’t be upheld because I was now outside of that window because of the shipping fiasco.
Anyway, Duncan received the pickup and shipped me the exchange....good job on that.
My only complaint was that my email was never responded to so I had no idea whether Duncan was going to honor the exchange....so, a little communication would have been good but all in all no harm, no foul.

I think they just don't have the staff in place to give that consistent customer experience like dedicated ecommerce sites do. It seems their staff wear multiple hats, which can be overwhelming. Not an excuse because in the example above just a quick email would have put the situation at ease. I think SD as a company will always go out of their way to do the right thing, but it seems a bit uncoordinated at times.

To be fair, they do have some dedicated customer service people who work really hard to take care of everyone. I hear, just once in awhile, that an email goes unanswered, but compared to most big companies, they are really on top of things. For the fastest service, just call.

Oh yeah, I didn't mean to sound critical, just that their CS folks wear a lot if hats and that can get overwhelming. Their intentions are always the best, they just have a lot on their plates.
