I'd say so ... I'll keep using the Full Shred/59 combo ... I love what it can do.
I will be trying a number of pickups in the future though namely the Pearly Gates n, Custom b, '59 b, Dropsonic (possibly), Invader and a few others when I get some money.
But the FS/59 isn't leaving my main guitar, and everything points to my installing the same setup in my 7 string when I get the money.
I'd say so ... I'll keep using the Full Shred/59 combo ... I love what it can do.
I will be trying a number of pickups in the future though namely the Pearly Gates n, Custom b, '59 b, Dropsonic (possibly), Invader and a few others when I get some money.

If I had a power generator and was stranded on a Desert island, any of my guitars with Duncan Antiquitys would satisfy me almost completely.
Still looking for the perfect neck humbucker :smack: though the Pearly Gates is very, very close.
I'm more than satisfied with the 59B and Custom Custom as bridge pickups.
Still looking for the perfect S/S/HB set in a Strat.
As far as the ULTIMATE HOT STRAT BRIDGE REPLACEMENT goes, for me it's the Duncan Twangbanger. Even though it does overpower the middle pickup slightly.
I'm still blown away by the Antiquity Surfers and the Antiquity Texas Hot Custom bridge pickup.
Like Dr. Barlo, I love the 3% underwound Fralin Vintage Hot neck and middle pickups. I love the Steel Pole 43 as a bridge pickup. That's the Fralin Strat set I use, though my Strats with the Duncans Antiquity Surfers get played more often.
I love the Duncan Custom Shop alnico 2 Tapped Tele Hot & alnico 5 Tele ala Strat set.
I love the alnico 2 Antiquity I Tele bridge pickup :dance: and use and like the Ant I neck pickup too but when it comes to single coil neck pickups I'm certain I will always prefer alnico 5 over alncio 2.
The Fralin Blues Special Tele set is another favorite though I go back and forth on which Fralin Tele neck pickup I prefer. Overall, the uncovered Blues Special Tele neck pickup is my favorite when it's used by itself but combined with the bridge pickup I like the covered Fralin tele Stock better as it has more of the classic Tele chime when it's combined with the BS bridge pickup, and allows the bridge pickup to dominate the neck a little better for a brighter chimier rythym tone.

well for pickups i have a Fender Tex set, Jb jr, lil59, Full Shred, Duckbucker and Dimarzio Evolution set. now my favourite for neck is probably the duckbucker but only since i swapped it to my cheaper squier and out of the fender strat, i love the duckbucker through and through its brilliant. now for a humbucker i cant decide whether i like the Full Shred or the Jbjr most, some days i like one and some the other so i cant really choose, but im definutly happy and wont be changing those pickups from where they are now. im still not 100% on whether i like the lil 59 in the neck of my strat, there seems to be too much of a warm sound to use with distortion and it doesnt seem right compared to the duckbucker in neck for playing fast lead stuff despite having lots more output than the duckbucker.

Not shure, it's probably too early for me to settle with any pickup now. There is so much more tone to discover!
Only time can tell what pickup will be the 'one' for me.
For now the C5 is my favorite pickup. It just responds very good in combination with my guitar and amp. Still it's not perfect yet.
But then again I'm never satisfied...

I really love the Dimebucker/Full shred combo in my NJ Beast. It's versetaille and delivers crushing metal tone if necesarry.
But for me nothing can beat the EMG Combo on my custom stealth. 81 Neck 89 middle(splitable) and 60 Bridge. It may sound weird but it covers a really wide range of tone and has just the right killer instinct i need for most of my guitar work
I really love the Dimebucker/Full shred combo in my NJ Beast. It's versetaille and delivers crushing metal tone if necesarry.

Dimebucker, I can get a pinch harmonic anywhere on the neck and it cleans up great, now I just need a better guitar to put it in. APH-1n that I'm still tweaking to get it just right, and again I need to put it in a better guitar. Usually you get a better pickup for an upgrade but the Duncans sound so good that the guitar has to keep up with it.
