Anyone Else own a Brian Moore Guitar and would like to tell about it?

I've got the Brian More Guitars I12000.
I picked it up for 1500 AUD back in December 2005, after it was marked down from 3000 AUD, pretty much because they weren't moving most likely because no one had any idea who the brand were.
By the time I brought it home, I realized this thing easily outplayed any Fender or Gibson for the some price (given it has 6105 frets and a 15i nch radius:)), had great tone (it came with Seymour pups from factory) and I only need to touch the tuning pegs about once a week because of the awesome Sperzel Locking Tuners.
It's also an extremely nice guitar, so I not only got a functional beast, but nice aesthetically too.
Coil tapping on both buckers, so with the HSH, I've got 9 different pup configurations.
Who else has got a BMG?

i do i do

i really like my i88.13 ... i upgraded to duncans and sperzels in it and it was my #1 for a long time ... i upgraded the switching to a 5 way P-type megaswitch and that REALLY made it easy to access all the versatility

i am getting ready to put a new neck on it, or at least refret in stainless steel .... since i got my EJ strat, i found i play better on a beefier neck carve ... so i want that ... i figured that for the cost of a SS refret, a whole new neck isnt much more ... so we'll see

i am on the low-level hunt for an i2.13 ... i thought it'd be cool to have a single cut 24.75" scale compliment to the i88.13

enjoy yours

I have an i88.13 as well. It's a great playing guitar. The only reason I bought it though was to work with my Roland GR-33. That guitar tracks with that Roland like a champ.

i know brett valentine has (had?) a brian moore that he was pretty happy with .. do a search to find his posts on the subject

I wouldn`t say they play better then any Fender in that price range but they are probably the best made in Korea guitars that you will find.

i think the prs koreans and the schecter koreans are equally well made as the korean made bmg ... i am not as happy that bmg moved to china and elswhere

i have a C55PM, which is a wonderful guitar- more like a Ferrari to Fender's Chevy. Very well made, with a sound all its own.

I guess I meant more in actual neck specs.
The medium jumbo frets and 9.5inch radius doesn't lend itself to the same level of playability the 15inch radius and 6105 frets of BMG offers me.
I even compared the playability of my guitar to a friend's Jackson DK2S (which was set up with the lowest action possible, 14-16inch compound radius) and while I could play legato as fast on each neck, on the Jackson I could only alternate pick at 210bpm in 16th notes, while the BMG let me play all the way to 225bpm.
Something about the shape of the neck of the BMG (which is still a tad thicker than say, an Ibanez Wizard II) just seems to allow such effortless playing and my hand never gets fatigued playing it either.

I believe it's only the i1000 series that's made in China.

The i2000 series is still made in Seoul Korea.
Least from my understanding.

Anyways, the i2000 series are sweet guitars.

I just think Brian Moore would have been better off pricing them in the same range and upper end Schecters and LTDs.
I think they would do much better.
$1400 is just too steep for a new i2p.
That's getting you into used LP Classics and Faded territory.
Same with the i1.
I'd build a Carvin or look for a used Jackson Soloist SL2H.

i will say the USA models are worth it though.

The bridge is looking crusty, but otherwise, I take good care of her, give her lemon oil on the fingerboard, take care not to ding and dusted her off a bit before taking the pics.

BTW, JB Trembucker bridge, Alnico II pro single coil, Alnico II pro neck 'bucker.

I owned a C90P. Small frets, small neck, small nut width. Couldn't ever get past those features otherwise a great guitar.
