Anyone Ever Tried A Fretless Guitar?

If so, what was it like? I imagine it feels smoother, but is it harder or easier to play? Does it sound different?

I've played a fretless wonder, which is practically fretless. :laugh2: All I can say is...NO FUN! Frets are so much easier to play on.

well, The last guitar I refretted (a Kramer baretta) After I pulled out the old frets and leveled the board. I threw a set of strings on it to get the neck under tension so I could re jig it and I was curious about a fretless guitar. I decided to play it a little bit. Using it normally it was not very much fun but, with a slide it was very cool.
