Anyone ever used WCR American Steele set. Godwood bridge, Crossroads neck.

Taking out the 57 Classic and Classic plus from my 08 Les Paul Traditional.

WCR pickups seem to be very highly regarded. This set interests me greatly as it seems to have the ability to be very versatile which is what I want.

Beautiful PAF tones out of the neck and plenty of punch and growl from the bridge.

Anyone used them?

I have a Crossroads bridge and it is one of my favorite pickups, right up with some SD Custom Shop items. Bright little sucker, and lots of life and sparkle in it.

Did you get it yet? The Godwood is unreal! You could also go to Guitar Force pickups and ask kevin for a Rebell II or Rebel-Fire(I use this one and love it).

Nice thing about pickups in that tange is they will cover almost anything musically with the right amp. Heck there is a metal guy listed on WCRs site using a variant of the American Steel set.
