Anyone familar w/them...USA Made, Mid-Eighties, Pointy HS, Strat-ish/Jaguar-ish Body, Bolt Neck, Stock Dual EMG Active HBs, Kahler Top Mount Trem...???

Picked this one up today for $80!!!

Haven't been able to find much info on them other than this site so far...

Added an actual picture of her...Guild S-282???

Changed the battery on the old EMGs and plugged it in...WOW!!! They sounded really meaty in this!

Pulled the strings...I'll need to clean it up...have to find 2 tuners for it as well...as they are missing. This one...I'll be fixing up and keeping.

Thanks. Unusual model to say the least. Lot of guitar for $80.00 tho and it'll be fully functional as soon as I get a set of replacement tuners! :friday:

I walked out of the store thinking..."I'm going to EVH Stripe this thing"...but the more I mess w/it and clean it...I think it's just going to get new tuners, a good cleaning/polishing and a good set up to include locking the Kahler and then just play it!
