Anyone familiar with the Dropsonic?

Re: Anyone familiar with the Dropsonic?

Does anyone else think the guitar tones in Linkin Park sound WAY too compressed, like he cranked the "Boston" knob on his comp? :)

:laugh2: As much as I don't care for the band, the clip on the DiMarzio site isn't too shabby.

Re: Anyone familiar with the Dropsonic?

wow old thread i nearly forgot i posted in it until i saw my pic of my strat lol... anyway...as for sound clips, i'd love to help but i don't have any software on my new computer to record with...once i get a new copy of adobe audition i'll try and do some clips but i warn you, i'm very used to playing in E tuning so having this guitar in "one finger tuning" as i like to call it lol is just for fun for me, i hardly actually play it...so don't think you'll be getting some amazing clips most likley just some heavy simple off the top of my head riffs :) hopefully i can get the software soon...i'll let you know when i do.

Thanks a lot Mike. I guess not too many people on here have experience with this pickup. I really want to try one in my Ibanez soon!
