Tele wiring:a capacitor is fitted between the slider of the volume control and the output, allowing treble sounds to bleed through while the mid and lower ranges are damped.This is why I didn't like the bridge pickup or the $10 worth of wiring.

This whole notion of a tone control being bad is laughable. Do you operate your car with the throttle to the floor all the time? Same with a tele. Mine has a broadcaster pickup, and I bring it close enough to the strings that there is string wear on the bobbin. I love how it sounds there. Then I roll the tone back to 8, volume to 9, and I can cut through if I want with a flick of the tone knob, or boost a bit with the volume. Those controls are there for a reason.

I've found that LP's with low output PAF style pickups in the bridge can sound extremely twangy. .....

To the point that it can be hard to tell whether it's a tele or lp....... =0 ........not this again!

A treble based guitar with even more treble because of it's design,doesn't work for me.

I hate the MODERN tele bridge, Live the classic one, and I DO like the pickup, but for what I play, I can't use it. I'll put a lil '59 there but I know it wont sound like a tele should :(

If I use the stacks will they be hum canceling with high gain and have that tele twang??
