anyone have a Genz Benz Gflex 2x12??

considering buying one of these puppies to run my AT-100 through..

for those of you who have one, what are you running through it?

how's it handle high gain? does it make the distortion more brutal and tight?

how're cleans?

how's the bass response?

any info would be helpful..thanks =)

I've used one for years, and it's never let me down either live, at practice, or in a studio setting. I friggin love it. I've set it next to other player's rigs using 4x12s and it eats (most) of them alive.

I used to run a Marshall TSL 60 through it, then a 5150, and now a Mesa Road King through it with my band, and let me tell you it handles high gain VERY well. It never flubs out or gets farty sounding, and the bass response is always consistant and solid. Overall it's an excellent cabinet.

yeah, I remember you saying something about that when I asked about closed backed cabinets..also saw your review on harmony central (at least, I think that was you! there were a couple of reviews from guys on the ION boards)..

I'm pretty psyched about gettin' the cab..probably gonna order it this weekend and then just replenish the funds when I unload my other stuff =)
