My tele-sonic is "chambered", and i noticed right away that the tone was very complex. I am really starting to love chambered guitars. My two favorite guitars are mahogony chambered guitars, a Les Paul, and a Tele.

Being a huge fan of Pete Townshend i have made a few teles based on his Shecter teles of the 1979-88 period.... I made a home made tele body and neck... body is Mahogany with a thin flame maple cap rear routed and 2 humbucker routs, and the neck is all maple with a hard V shape to the back.... It feels nice... i have not fretted this yet or sprayed the finnish.... i'm in no hurry yet... I also made a few Teles out of some cheap Popular wood but only roughed out the bodies so far... these bodies were meant for some cheap necks i have collected over the years.... once people heard i was making my own guitars people started to give me all their old parts......

Got the JB put in and tweaked it.......that is an awsome pup in a mahogany Tele! Warm, smooth and POWERFUL. Good combo with the '59n although I've got a Jazz that I could pop in there too for the old tried and true combo. I do miss some of the openess of the Antiquity or Seth though. But I can't complain too much, it sounds wonderful!
