I 'm planning to buy some new pup's but I have no id how I should replace a pup, so I 'm considering having it done at a musicshop but I really don't know what the price is for having them placed and since I won't be able to visit one in a while...could someone tell me what the average price is for this?

It's really not that hard to do, depending upon the guitar (335 type guitars are more difficult). Get Dan Erlewine's book & he walk you through it. If you can solder, you can do it. Also check the archive section here.

Don't forget the Super Ego.:offtopic:

Shark: Installing a pickup is really not that difficult. And the folks here are more than happy to advise you as you go.

Everyone has an id, if you believe Freud. :laugh2:

Mrid,
That was a good one :laugh2:

As a Psychologist, I can truthfully tell you that Freud was blowing smoke out of his butt with all that crap. Unfortunately therapists make a lot of money purpetuating it.

Now, on to more important things! Shark, good luck with the pup replacement. If you run into problems, give us a holler :)
