Anyone have....?

Some sound clips of Strats (or other bolt ons) with a Hot Rails in the bridge?

Looking for fairly high gain if possible..Marshall Plexi/800/TSL/DSL/VHT/5150/Soldano/ type stuff..

I think I may go with either of these in the bridge for my new strat instead of a "lil" humbucker, but just wanted to hear some other clips besides the SD ones if possible.

listen to a lot of post 2k maiden =) that will give you an idea of the hotrails in a strat if you can pick out dave's playing/sound =P

Ugh...do I have to?

I bought the Brave New World tape last year after swearing off Maiden during the post Live Aftr Death years....it was not...err..good, IMO of course

But I'll give it another listen...I know Dave's style well...when did he switch from Super Distortions?

when he stopped playing his 57 strat and the destroyers... soo.. late 80's to late 90's he was all over the board. from SH4's to super distortions, to single coils and eventually he settled with the hotrails when adrian and bruce got back in '98

Hmm..didn't even know Bruce ever left Somewhere in Time left me very disappointed, and when I saw the vid for Can I Play with Madness (7th son?). I was damn near ready to cry A few years later I bought one of the live albums "real dead one" I think...the one that had all old tunes...and IMO, it was horrid. Bruce sounded horrible, Jannick just butchered Adrian's solos and noodled around the fretboard with no rhyme or reason, and even Steve and Dave played poorly. I could not believe they made an album out of that Concert.

Brave New World I only bought because it was in a bargain bin for $3.99. The band has no "spark" like they did in the mid-80's, songwriting and playing-wise. Kinda like Gary Moore's After the War...every song was either really poor/flat, or totally sounded like a mish-mosh of 5 things he had written before. Again my opinion of course

That may very well be true...especially considering I'm a Di'Anno fan by far
