I'm the original owner of an early model hellhound combo, which I've always loved and will never sell, especially since I chopped it into a head (came out nice looking). Sold its all tone speaker though; nice speaker, but not what I was after.
Great tone, on the fender side of things, although darker and thicker than fender voiced amps imo. It has a switch that's intended to get a vox like tone, but I like this less than the american setting.
Takes pedals very well. For just playing, and because its one channel, I really don't use it's OD and instead rely on pedals to get OD and distortion; but I can get nice OD if needed when I record.
