anyone here into synths?

anyone here fool around with guitar synth products? i'm looking into compiling a synth setup so i can start sounding like crystal method on my guitar. i'm looking at a ehx micro synth since that pretty much pound for pound is great for all things synth. but i want to perhaps go a little further... buy seperate units that specialize in the synth functions.

but my question here is, has anyone tried the ehx micro synth? or what is your setup? and also, what do you guys think of that new EHX HOG?

I Have been playing guitar synth for about 12 years now and have a Ibanez equiped with a g12k pickup that I may be selling. Oddly enough my last band used to play Crystal method/ prodigy Rammstein etc. Not familiar with the microsynth but I use a Roland gi10 to translate my guitar info to the sound modules that I have by yamaha and alesis. You can mix your guitar signal with the synth signal etc. You can play drum sounds or special fx piano etc etc. You may be intersted in a pedal called the space station by digitech. i have a roland gr-33 that i drive with the 13 pin output of my brian moore ... tons of fun and great tracking

if i had it to do all over again, i'd get the unit klink talked about (rack mount!)and some rack mount synth modules instead of a floor unit
