Anyone here use a Tremol-No?

I looks like just what I need. I only have a guitar with a locking trem and having one of these would be pretty useful for me, especially since I go back and forth from E to E flat alot(among other tunings). Its still in production and the fact that Guthrie Govan uses one is a really good selling point. I read a really positive review of it on Sevenstring.org.

Any of the guys here on the forum use one? I'm really curious about this.

I bought and installed one for my nephew - seemed to do the trick, but those thumb screws look to be a pain to get if you needed some in a hurry.

This topic has been covered before. (Blasted Search engine!)

Several forum members have reported successful results using the product. Yes, the lock wheels are a pain in the thumb. Just not not as much of a pain as trying to replace a unique-to-Yamaha two point vibrato bridge design.

Re: Anyone here use a Tremol-No?

i found that there was friction in the 2 pieces that lock together if the unit isn't set up perfectly straight. and even though it was ever so slight, it caused tuning stability issues when it was in free-floating mode.
so i found it was good if it was fully locked, or in dive-only mode.
but not when unlocked

Re: Anyone here use a Tremol-No?

I have them in most of my trem guitars. IME they work exactly as advertised.

Great unit, works as advertised, all of my Floyded guitars have one installed (don't ask). Just make sure it's installed correctly as was said above and you're good to go.
