Anyone impressed with the $99 mustang amp?

Re: Anyone impressed with the $99 mustang amp?

I bought one and returned it. I'm not a Fender guy so it only had a few amp models I liked. As far as modelers it's a good one for that price.

No...had the Mustang V for 2 days. Returned it immediately!

I had the chance to trade my Crate GX-65 for a Mustang II recently and after trying it out, I passed. I thought it was highly overrated . I'll stick with my Crate for now until I get the coin for a FM 212R .

I recently bought a Mustang ii and I really like it. You need to run the FUSE software to really get in to it. There are tons of good effects and amp models to choose from. The Fender clean tones are really authentic. If you play hard rock or metal, get somethings else. If you play blues, indie, jazz, grab it.

I agree! the FUSE is a must for these! without the FUSE software i was NOT impressed. but after really getting into the different options FUSE has i was quite impressed!:headbang:

yes but tnat model is a lot more $$$
I am just refering to the M1 for $99

Better off with a Crate. Seriously...if the more expensive head thru a quad of V30's doesn't sound
good, I can't see small $99 cheap speaker sounding good at all.

I liked mine a lot if you can try using one and formulate your own opinions amps are pretty subjective.

the fuse software really unleashes it's true potential. I had a lot of very cool sounds/presets on mine. I only got rid of mine because I got an AC4tv mini with a 1x12" and the Egnater Tweaker with 2x12" and a massive pedalboard.

I'm selling off some little things that don't get the mileage to fund purchasing an Epiphone 1961 50th Anniversary SG with P90's (since I'm a huge Pete Townshend fan).
