Anyone interested in Entwistle Pickups? (Single Coils, 6/7 String Humbuckers, Bass)

When I switched to actives, I said that I would go for Entwistles if I went back to passives. I'm doing just that. I picked up a few used ones from the forum, but they're not as easy to find in the USA. They occasionally show up on eBay but if you want to get a bunch of them, you've got to find a reseller, which means dealing with someone in another country and paying shipping. I decided just to go direct with Entwistle, so it looks like I'll be a USA reseller soon.

They've got some great designs, and they have models available with AlNiCo, Ceramic, and Neodymium magnets, and the humbuckers do respond well to swaps and hybridizing if you're so inclined.

For those that aren't aware of them:

I don't have any experience with the single coil or bass models (although I may grab a P-Bass set for my Warlock bass), but I've loved the humbuckers that I've tried. (HVX, HDN, Nemesis, X3, and DarkStar.) I'm definitely grabbing the HV58 ZB+ this time around, as that's supposed to be an overwound PAF. I'm thinking that with an A8 or thick Ceramic may be absolutely crushing. (It comes stock with an A5.)

I'll probably be placing an order in the next week or so, if anyone's interested reply here or drop me a PM and I can add your stuff to the order. I can't post prices here but I can via PM. I do get a discount if the order's large enough, so it could end up being cheaper. They're made by the same company that makes GFS pickups, so they're similar to those in quality and price, and I'll ship them for free in the USA to people on the forum. :D

Entwistle Pickups are a great value. I am definitely a fan of their pickups. I am not in the market for any right now but I'm sure I'll take some at some point. Dominus, could you pm me a price list please. Thanks!

Probably going to order in a few more days. Was quite busy lately but working on getting things taken care of. :D

They look kinda interesting but being made by the same company as GFS has me kinda skeptical as to them being better than Duncan, EMG, and the other top American brands.

Glad you like them though, and hope whomever is ordering some enjoys them.

I must say I am a fan of Entwistle pickups. Currently I use Nemesis AFG set and XS62 in Ibanez RG270, HV58 set in Epi LP, and HV-M mini humbucker in Epi Nighthawk. This HV-M cooperates very well with SD SH-4 for Nighthawk (slant version).
