This came up on another thread but I didn't want to totally hijack so I'm just starting another thread.
I really like guitars with a 24.75" scale and a 10-inch fretboard radius, but I have no idea which guitars from the past may have had them?
I do know that a fair number of 1950s and '60s Gibson electrics left the factory with a 10" radius (per Dan Erlwine, regardless of what Gibson may have said), but the prices for those are not in the range I am willing to pay for a guitar.
When I am fishing through Craigslist, eBay, and the Guitar Center used gear are there any particular brands or models I should look for that would be under a grand used, preferably under $500?
(I am asking because this past week I walked into a local music store and found a guitar I thought I wanted for only $350 but when I picked it up I hated the neck. Hated it. Googled it when I got home and turns out they have a 14" fingerboard. If I had seen that guitar online I probably would have bought it and now I would be stuck with a beautiful guitar I hate.)
