Electro Voice EVM12L speakers rated at 200 watts each...? I've searched and couldn't even find them on the EV website.
Anyone know where to get these speakers?

They haven't been made for years, Mesa/Boogie bought the rights to them a number of years back and used them in the old mark combos. If you're looking for something similar to that then look into Eminence speakers, they have the Delta series bass speakers that are quite similar to the EV's. They may be bass speakers, but they put out all the same frequencies and don't break up at all.

You can still get an EVM12L, and ALL of them are rated at 200 watts! You can also buy a Mesa Black Shadow and it's the same speaker with a mesa logo on it...the mesa version will cost a few dollars more. Look around on Ebay, or check one of the many local Atlanta music stores...how many do you need?

Check out the Weber Michigan 12 - it's Weber's EVM12 sound-alike. They don't look the same, and only handle 100 watts, but who really needs a 12" guitar speaker that handles 200 watts?

they discontinued it years ago .. the "series II" models are not the same as the originals, although i cannot comment on the sound difference between them ... one look at ebay prices for used originals let you know how well they are regarded ...
