They've had at least 2 kinds of neck joints over the years... a bulkier strat type one and a round one more recently.
Tried ebay? used gutted rg bodies are common, as I found when I was in the market for one a while ago.

drop jim donahue a mail. jim spent the better part of the last two decades working for ibanez as head of their R&D. since then, he has his own manufacturing plant, consulting company and lumbermill. jim can rough out bodies and necks that are programmed on his cnc. i don't think ibanez-style guitars would be a problem.
