I missed out on one of those when I was a kid... was gutted.
I was a major Viv Campbell fan.. right up until he gave up playing guitar ( oh, sorry I mean joined Def Leppard :naughty: )

Yeah, I cant imagine its pleasant for him in the back seat like that.. Steve didnt like it.. Then again, maybe Viv isnt a limelight hog like many guitarists are. So, I guess props to him there..
Back on topic, I dont have a Swan, but have always wanted one! Stagemaster is more my dream axe tho..

Lots of Nightswan photos on Kramer Forum, actually someone is selling a mint holoflash Swan there right now.
I like Rand guitars a lot, which is what Vivian had during his time with Whitesnake.

I actually got one of the first ones back around 88 or 89. Somewhere I've got a picture of me onstage at the Whisky with 2 feet of hair and a white Nightswan with white plastic covers over a JB/59.
There's two things NOT to like about the Nightswan, but it was a killer guitar. First, the bridge/middle config of the guitar was stupid. It should have been bridge/neck.
Second, it had a tapered neck profile that would have been better non-tapered, because the rest of the neck was killer. They were mahogany body, maple neck, ebony 24 fretboard w/Floyd and JB/59. It was a good sounding guitar that played like butter.

I like Rand's too, but holy crap are they expensive! And, express for the upper neck access and the exclusive factor, I didnt think the 2 I played were worth 2-3 times the price of my Washburn Wm526. But, dont get me wrong, Id love to have a few....haha
