Anyone Played A Holy Grail Plus?

I had one of the regular holy grails last year and freakin loved it, but sold it when I got my Traynor since I figured now that I had an amp with true spring reverb, I didn't need it anymore. I was wrong. Despite the amp having a decent reverb, the grail was just so much better, mainly due to it's totally sweet hall reverb. The flerb setting I found to be totally useless. I've been considering getting one again for months and then out came the Holy Grail Plus. Same pedal (apparently) but with room reverb instead of flerb and some more knobs. Seems like an obviously better pedal but to this day I have heard NOTHING about this pedal. No online reviews, no threads on this site. What's up? Did this pedal fall short of the mark or what?

i have one that i use with my dr.z. i like it aloti have never played a regular holy grail so i can not compare them sorry.

I think its due to reverb pedals kinda not being in fashion rather then this pedal in particular. This and the Verbzilla seem to be the two pedals to go for as from what I've heard the BOSS (and other cheaper reverbs) fall way short of the mark.

I'm so GASing for one of those - but I love my regular grail....and my marriage.

I've played one - it's awesome...And flexible/adjustible!. I just think it came to late...too many other grails before this one.

I have a Holier Grail I'm not using, It has Room, Hall, Spring, and Flerb settings. It is the same size as a Deluxe Memory Man.

I think the original was a hit because it wasn't overpriced. Every consecutive one they've come out since was more and more expensive. They're probably better, but the cheapest one did a normal reverb as good as it needed to be....just minus all the added options.

I have a Holy Grail, and know I could use it in front of an amp, but I tend to use it mixed naturally into the FX loop on my verbless amps. I just sit it on top of my Bogner or Jubilee and use it in the loop set pretty low. It sounds just about the same as if the amp had spring reverb.

Totally would, but those things are WAY to big. I've been toying with the idea of, if I ever wind up financially well off, creating a huge all-ehx pedalboard. Seriously, those guys have a top of the line option for everything.
