Anyone played the Schecter c-1 artist?

This thing looks too good to be true, does anyone have any experience to tell that it is or isn't? My local guitar center is incompetant and doesn't have any in, nor know if they'll be getting any soon, and I don't want to special order one unless there's a great possibility I'll buy it, nor does GC want to order one specially just so I can play around with it.

So, does anyone have any experience with these? I can't imagine a guitar with those specs isn't worth $500, but I've heard that cheap neck through guitars often have major issues with neck warping. I can adjust a truss rod fine, but the small heel just kind of unnerves me a bit.

I was always a bit wary about those store special models, however the workmanship on my c-1 plus is superb.

Go with a C-1 Elite, you will love it.

Man! Its got my pickups and its a damn good price, although i would be wary of the store special models, as proxy said!

it looks like its pretty much the same specs as a C1 classic, just in solid black. so you might want to go down to guitar center or where ever and try a classic, and see if you like the feel before ordering. but for $500, looks like a steal with those specs.
