Anyone running DSL50 --> 2x12?

I’ve got my DSL hooked up to a pair of Celestion Greenbacks (2 eight ohm drivers wired to 16 ohms) with a 16 ohm hotplate. I have yet to get this thing dialed in (I had much better luck plugging into a Fender RocPro 412 cabinet with stock speakers and no hotplate). Any of you guys have success running a DSL50 (or any Marshall for that matter) off a 212 cab? I’m really beginning to think that this amp really wants to speak through a 412. I can’t put my finger on it, but there is DEFINITELY something missing from the tone.

Yes, I ran a DSL50 through a Bogner 2X12. However, the Bogner 2X12 sounds almost as full as a 4X12. This is larger "oversized" model.

I thought it sounded very nice through that cab. I also ran it through a Genz-Benz 4X12 w/ 12/75s... it sounded good also.
