anyone seen the new PRS models?

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

I also like the single p90 SE and the semi-hollow sounds cool as well. Interesting!

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

Man, I'm diggin the p90 one and semi hollow. Don't think the One will catch on with just one volume and assimetrical carving tough. And the pickguard binding is fugly.

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

No major changes but the changes they did make look good to me. I wish that SC250 was available when I bought mine. Now they just need to make a Cu24 with a floyd.

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

Not impressed by a single one of those guitars.

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

I'm wondering if that scale legnth is correct on the SC 245 though, 24.5 inches? I guess it would make sense in a matching-up-with-the-model-number way.

A certain guitar manufacturer would probably sue them again if they offered it in 24.75 :laugh2: :laugh2:

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

The only guitar that did anything for was the Paul Allender model. I'm not that big a Cradle of Filth fan but I have to say his guitar is one of the sexiest beasts in the world.

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

The Chris Henderson model looks to me like Ace Frehley would play if he had PRS.

The Paul Allender model sounds like it may be worth a look if nothing else, for the color. Wish they had a pic.

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

PRS is still chasing after Hamer when it comes to design. Paul Smith cites Jol Dantzig as one of his "inspirations" and here he proves it again.

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

I like the Singlecut 250 a lot, but the guitar I'm most likely to buy will be a Semi Hollow SE Custom. I wonder how much they'll be?

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

That P-90 SC may find it's way into my hands once released. I'm a sucker for the old Junior vibe.

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

Paul told us about those a long time ago. Hehe. I love my insider info.

Just trust that the pickups in them will rock because I make them. :-)

They've also been switching me up and putting me on Final Assembly quality control every so often. It's pretty sweet I get to look at beautiful guitars under a flood light and draw on them with a wax pencil if I see so much as a pinhole. w00t.

Re: anyone seen the new PRS models?

that new Tremonti is pretty sweet but i rather it with a hardtail.
