Anyone seen the new Traynor Ycs100h?

Re: Anyone seen the new Traynor Ycs100h?

You're kind of ugly! I like the look of it.

I'm going to try one out today most likely, so I'll let you know.

Re: Anyone seen the new Traynor Ycs100h?

they are a very nice amp for the bucks... when they first came out someone on here had an issue with his.... some sort of osculation issue... but i have tried a few and they sound great!!! and i'm sure Traynor should of fixed any issues in the protuction by now...

Re: Anyone seen the new Traynor Ycs100h?

Well, I didn't try the YCS100 (I will wait until L&M moves to their new store with the amp rooms before cranking a 100 watter), but I did try the similar YCS50 1x12 combo. My one line review:

For the money, there is no better channel-switching amp. Period.

I will post a full review once I've collected my thoughts.

Please collect them quickly. :) I'd love to hear more about the YCS50. Initial reports have been promising, and I love the feature set.

Re: Anyone seen the new Traynor Ycs100h?

I got to test drive the 100 head when they first came out. So many tonal options, and all of them were good. It's a great amp, regardless of price. Not sure if it's road-worthy but for the average joe playing gigs here and there it should do nicely. Go for it.

What do you mean by "road worthy"? Traynors are some of the most durable amps out there. I'd have far more confidence in a YCS100h taking abuse than a JCM 2000, for example.
