Just reading the recent thread about wahs and it got me thinking about getting one. I have an old dunlop wah thats squeaky. I could fix I guess but I was looking at what's out there and the Wahzoo caught my ear with its versatility in the step and auto wah. The "normal" McCoy based wah in the Wahzoo doe not have any tweekability except for an internal pot to change the range I think?.
Watched some youtube vids but was wondering of any thoughts on the McCoy wah sound? How does say a Wilson wah compare - seems like it has a lot of tweeks (these are the two I am contemplating)
Anyone else ever look at a wah schematic - say for example a Dunlop GCB-95? Seems kind wierd - just not what I thought I guess. I was thinking of modding my old Dunlop myself and was about to take the pencil/paper/calculator out to figure out the circuit but its not so cut and dry.
