Anyone tried an Alnico 8 in a neck bucker yet?

Just curious if it muddies the sound too much. I can try it myself but too lazy right this minute lol.

With al8 bass are tighter ( low e )
but more low mids = darker feel
but different from al2 cause you still have punchy bass .

I would use Alnico 8 in a neck pickup only if the guitar/pickup combo is just way too bright and no other pickup or magnet did the trick -- and would recommend finding a way to de-gauss it a little because string-pull would be a bigger problem in the neck position.
