Anyone tried the GHS Coated Boomers??

Since my sweat just eats strings I have switched to coated strings a long time ago.
I've been using the Elixirs.
I've tried the D'Addario EXP coated strings, but did not like them at all, because the unwound strings are not coated which rendered them pretty useless.
I've noticed GHS making coated Boomers that come with the unwound strings also coated, and pricewise they are noticeably cheaper then the Elixirs.

Does anyone have any expercience with the GHS Coated Boomers?
Thanks in advance for any replies!!

OMG thats a huge rip off then lol. I bought a set of theses by accident and are currently on my Gibson SG. So far I only noticed that they feel more 'stiff'. Do coated strings have higher tension than regulars?

I tried them on my Brian May guitar. Sounded dull and the coating came off the wound strings within 3-4 days. YMMV

In the long ago past, I used to use Optima Gold and Optima Teflon, as well as Kaman (Kamen?) Teflon coated. Those all sounded bright and lasted 3 times longer than any other string I tried.
