Anyone tried the Emg retroactive singles vs the livewire classic 2's? I'm curious how these sound, especially the A2 versions.

I doubt you'll find anyone for quite some time. The LiveWire Classic II set has been out for a few years, however few know about them and even fewer have tried them, making experiences rare. The EMGs are brand new, so few people have gotten their hands on them.
Perhaps someone like ArtieToo will pickup up a set of the RA's to compare with his LW's in the future :dunno:
If you do want to give the LW II set a try, I have a brand new, sealed set in white I'd let go for just under 2 bones delivered to your door
