Anyone use a Bone pick?

Re: Anyone use a Bone pick?

I can't say that I've ever used one. I like celluloid picks because I have a habit of doing pick slides down the scale, and the celluloid sounds the best for that to me. It burns the hell out of the pick, but that's probably why I buy them by the gross.

From a nasty stage floor? I hope you did something to kill off the bacteria colonies growing on those picks. Geez.

nah i just throw em in my mouth and swish them around for a minute to get the funk off

Dang guys... the man acknowledges that we hijacked his thread and ya'll kept on going.

Well, apparently hardly anyone here has used a bone pick and those that have are being pretty tight-lipped about it. The thread would be pretty boring if it was just a roll call.

So, come on bone-pickers, what's cool about these picks? How do they compare to standard plastic picks, tone and feel-wise? Any pros? Any cons? Let's get an on-topic discussion going here. :)

Ben/Twilight Odyssey is currently doing some things with Bone pics, I thought he might've chimed in by now tbh.

Re: Anyone use a Bone pick?

If you guys can keep your knickers on, I'll order some and let you know what I think.

Re: Anyone use a Bone pick?

i dont like to keep my knickers on. its more fun with them off

Re: Anyone use a Bone pick?

Do bone picks last longer than regular plastic ones? I can't get more than three weeks out of any pick that I use regularly before the tip wears too much.
