I've used it with my 2204 homebrew. Never dimmed or in a gig situation yet. However I have gigged with my HRD w/t the TTC. IMO it changed my cheesy price point amp into a 3 channel boutique Monster!! What exactly do you want to know?

Want to know is too dark or warm. JCM800 is grindy and bright like so does it change tone darkening or softening it.

The TTC is a very Neutral sounding pedal. It gives you what ever your amp sounds like ...But LOUDER ! Very Transparent IMO.
