Anyone Use Akai MPC, Emu, or Korg Sequencers?

Gear Ho
I've been doing some session work for cartoons, which is mostly produced by electronica oriented producers. Even though I'm not really into rap, electronica, or dance music, the idea of incorporating these machines into my own musical setting is becoming more interesting to me.
It also makes creating backing tracks for guitar music a lot easier, without the hassles associated with gathering a lot of musicians, paying for rehearsal, and getting stuck in the same old guitar/bass/drums formula. I'm just looking to expand my horizons by adding electronic music to my style.

Does anyone here have any recommendations on electronic gear?
I've mostly been looking at the industry standard gear like the Akai MPC 1000, 2000, and also the Emu and Korg workstations/sound generators.

No responses all day. Hello? Did I just ask a bunch of cavemen what they think of Zippos? LOL

My brother has an MPC2000...His drums sound amazing, and the features on it are great. Although he uses it for rap and hip hop beats, I've made some killer metal backing tracks with it!
