Anyone use the WLH bridge in a superstrat type setup??

I've got a USA Charvel San Dimas with a single direct mount Trembucker (currently a Jb with UOA5), but really I'd like something a little more open sounding that might have some decent cleans. The body is alder, maple neck, rosewood board, it's on the darker end of the spectrum (maybe bass heavy?) since I put the 42MM brass big block in it. I know I'll probably get kicked in the sack for this , but the 78 was a dud in THIS guitar, all middy and NO treble cut, same with the CC. The crap part about direct mount pickups is that it really needs to be EQ'ed perfect because you have very little room for height adjustment to alter the tone. I LOVE the WLH tone in my Les Paul, but sometimes they don't translate into different axes.

Yep , I've got it in a mahogany hardtail single hum super start w/maple neck. I rarely play clean but at mid gain to high gain it just sings thru my EVH 50 watt and Splawn Super Sport. Depending on the amp it'll do AC/DC to higher gain like Ratt and Dokken. Since your saying your axe is on the dark side you might want to consider the Demon , I find it has a open tone and tight bass
