Anyone using a TC Dreamscape?

Re: Anyone using a TC Dreamscape?

If I were ever to get a chorus pedal, this would be the one.

Re: Anyone using a TC Dreamscape?

Here is a quick demo I did of my dreamscape through GarageBand tonight.

Clean Signal
Chorus 1: all knobs on 12:00 on bright
Flanger 1: all knobs on 12:00 on bright
Vibrato 1: all knobs on 12:00 on bright
----------------
Chorus 1: all knobs on 12:00 on Normal
Flanger 1: all knobs on 12:00 on Normal
Vibrato 1: all knobs on 12:00 on Normal
----------------
Chorus 1: all knobs on 12:00 on Dark
Flanger 1: all knobs on 12:00 on Dark
Vibrato 1: all knobs on 12:00 on Dark

This is just a quick demo of the 3 basic effects of the unit. There are 3 other chorus, flanger, and vibrato on the 2nd side of the dial that can get pretty sweet sounding all the way to intense. And like I said the Tone-Prints are all sweet sounding. Mine usually lives on the John petrucci toneprints.
Hi guitarSQUIRELL,
Thanks very much for going to all that trouble for me. I also found many more demos of toneprints for the tc pedals on soundcloud that I never knew existed, so very rewarding.

I think the H9 will take you further with presets than the Dreamscape it is like comparing apples and oranges. The H9 has everything from delay, pitch shifting, modulation and even overdrive/distortion. Once you start to add up the cost of all of those pedals you get to the $499 price point pretty quick. That being said the TC is a great pedal and if you are not ready for a $500 hit the TC will serve you well.
Agree that the H9 is a superior unit...however to get overdrive I believe you are looking at the H9 Max unit which is $699...I personally like the Eventide fx enough to buy a Max unit but really hate that it is such a power hog that it would still need separate power on a pedal board. So, my solution is use the nearly equal multimod dreamscape for pedalboard and keep an H9 in my studio down the road from now.
Compared to Eventide any pedal is apples and oranges but one does what works best at the time.

You're welcome. That's what we're here for. To help and offer advice.

Re: Anyone using a TC Dreamscape?

I was also thinking about this, dreamscape or h9...not sure if I really need the flexibility or not
