Anyone Using/Have a Joyo Delay?

Re: Anyone Using/Have a Joyo Delay?

I looked at the analog delays
Had the D-Seed digital delay
It was nice you could program two different delays
The switch back and forth between them with a single button
Found it to be fragile
Drummer tripped over it and it never came back on

I went with the DigiTech DL-8
Little more rugged

You can find them used for $49 everywhere

Re: Anyone Using/Have a Joyo Delay?

I've tried the green Joyo Analog Delay. I really didn't like it, it didn't sound analog at all. And if I'm not mistaken, I don't think it really is an analog delay, just a digital pretending.

Re: Anyone Using/Have a Joyo Delay?

None of the joyos are proper analog but if ya looking into them then there is the ironman series from them, those are better built, except the top plastic cover. A used flashback mini might be worthwhile as well to invest in.

Thanx for chiming in,guys!

Re: Anyone Using/Have a Joyo Delay?

I don't, I use Behringer delays, but as a budget-pedal guy, I love Joyo products. They have a great compressor.

IMO the best low-priced delays are Behringer DD400, Behringer Echo Machine and Zoom MS70 CDR.

Re: Anyone Using/Have a Joyo Delay?

I don't have the Joyo delay; but I do have a Caline Blue Ocean. Not a bad pedal in my opinion. Like the Joyos, not a true analog delay but a digital delay voiced to mimic analog.
