Anyone using the SFX-03 for recording?

I'm thinking about buying the SFX-03 and was wondering how it would work
for recording in my home project studio. I could either use it with my Pod XT,
or plug it in my computer audio interface. The interface has balanced inputs.

Is anyone using the SFX-03 in this fashion? I've tried to search all over this forum and others, but all I read is how the SFX-03 is being used with an amp.
